Project Description:

Project to expand the capacity of Passengers on the causeway from 1800 to 2500
Vehicle/Hour-Bahrain Side. By adding more booth cabins on both the departure
and arrival side

Work Include:

a. Demolishing a total of (54) existing cabins, utility connections,
and parts of the existing security fence, to expand the passenger’s procedures.

b. Construction of a total of (100) New Cabins, facilities, and buildings
on the departure and arrival side. Including Immigration (69), Electrical (6),
Multifunctional (5), Toilets (4), Prayer Rooms (2), Female Facilities (2),
Finger Print Rooms (6) and Customs Cabins (6).

c. Enclosed structural pedestrian footbridge of 55 Mtr length and 5.5 Mtr
Height to connect the existing Parking Area with the Main Spine. Including
Finishes, Lighting, Stairways, and 2 panoramic view Elevators.

d. 6 Mtr Height Structural Canopies covering 11,000 M2 of area above the Cabins.

e. Construction of a new fence for the expanded secured procedures

f. Site Development & Asphalt Paving and Traffic Signages.
